Tory L. Cox was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She was the third of four
children. In the early part of her childhood, she lived on a farm in the valley.
The place where she could let her imagination run wild and she could feel
the love of her family grow each and every day. Life on the farm was filled
with many adventures. Picking wild blackberries, helping her mom bake
fresh apple pie, riding the cows around the pasture, and taking daring sled
trips down the steep hill behind the barn will always remain close to her
heart.
At the age of eight, her dad sold the farm and moved the family to the small
South Central Wisconsin town, Juneau. Her dad's new job included a
home in town, and the comfort of the country was soon a distant memory.
Around the age of fifteen, her father and mother moved the family one last
time. Her dad felt he needed to be closer to his job, so he packed the
family up and moved them into the center of the farming community.
In the spring of 1995, Tory graduated from High School. In the fall of 1997,
she married the man she met at a local convenience store.
Trying to figure out her plans of being a new wife and a soon-to-be mother,
she started to take courses for writing for children and teenagers. Her love
for writing began to grow and she started to work on small projects in her
spare time.
She is currently a full-time mom of three children. She is also a full-time
writer and a homemaker. She enjoys reading romance novels, drawing,
cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and writing.
